I've found the easiest way to keep HUGE pieces of "whatever" meat on the hairis to tie a very short hair then twist on a length of florist's wire, you can adjust the length to suit and by putting it...

As I said t'other week, bait band on end of hair, pull through meat, stick a big pellet in the band & pull back through to sink pellet into base of meat.

Another way of doing it is to make a large bait band out of pole elastic. It cuts slightly into the meat and stays on very well... Andy
